U19 Coastal Spirit Labour Weekend Tournament

As a club, we look forward to competing in this tournament each year. We’re also proud to have strong representation, with both our men’s and women’s squads entered in this year’s competition.

Both squads feature a great mix of senior, academy, and development players, alongside guest players who will further strengthen our teams.

I’d like to wish both coaching teams all the very best for the tournament. I’ll also be there throughout the weekend to support our squads and am happy to speak with any club members who wish to discuss the club’s footballing direction.

I’ll be watching closely as our players represent Halswell with pride, demonstrating our club’s values and expected behaviours both on and off the pitch.

The girls are gearing up for the Coastal Spirit U19s Tournament and are ready to take on the challenge! There’s plenty of excitement within the group as they look forward to testing themselves against quality opposition, putting their hard work into action, and showcasing what they’re capable of on the pitch.

The team is focused on bringing energy, confidence, and a strong team-first mentality throughout the tournament. With a great opportunity to learn, compete, and continue developing together, the girls are eager to make their mark and put in some strong performances.

Every year this is a tournament that all the young players look forward to. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to coach the team this year. We have players from both academy and senior squad. Looking ahead at tournament we know it’s going to be tough, there is no easy game. But from all the players we had, we believe we have chosen the strongest team to be able to compete with anyone at tournament.
