As mentioned in previous newsletters, Stage 1 of the field renovations at Halswell Domain is now underway.

In the 2025 New Zealand Football Voice of Participation survey, one of the strongest themes across clubs nationally was the need for improved playing and training facilities. Playing and training venues received the highest number of requests for improvement and were among the lowest satisfaction scores reported.

The work currently underway at Halswell Domain, along with future plans for the site, is part of improving these facilities for our players and community.

However, during the 2026 season this will mean limited field availability, and many teams will need to train at alternative venues.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate this temporary disruption while these long-term improvements are completed.
