With the winter season fast approaching, preparations across the club are ramping up. Registrations are open, trials are about to begin, and we continue to work through field availability as upgrades at Halswell Domain progress.

KEY UPDATES FOR MARCH

Registrations are now open for the Halswell United AFC 2026 Winter Season, covering all age groups from First Kicks through to Masters.

Deadline for Junior and Youth (10th to 19th) for registration is 29th March. 
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great season.

Junior + Youth Trials

Trials for several junior and youth grades will take place at the end of March.

Please ensure you register for the season before attending.

Junior Trials: Sunday 29th March – Warren Park

10:00am – 10th Grade (players turning 10 in 2026)
11:00am – 11th Grade (players turning 11 in 2026)
12:00pm – 12th Grade (players turning 12 in 2026)
12:00pm – 13th Grade (players turning 13 in 2026)

12:00pm – Girls Only Teams
- 11th Grade (players turning 10–11)
- 13th Grade (players turning 12–13)
Note: Girls wishing to play mixed football should register for their normal grade rather than the girls-only teams.

Open Youth Trials (14+): Tuesday 24th March – Halswell Domain

4:30pm – 5:30pm
• Boys 14th Grade
• Girls 13th–19th Grades

5:30pm – 6:30pm
• Boys 15th, 17th and 19th Grades

U8 and U9 Season Information: 5-a-side Hub

Players turning 8 or 9 in 2026 will move into our 5-a-side Hub format, played at Halswell Domain on Saturday mornings.

Season Launch / First Session
Monday 30th March
4:30pm – 5:30pm
Location: Halswell Domain
This session will be used to assign and place players into teams for the season.

Game Days
Saturdays starting 2nd May
9:00am – 10:20am
