Grocery Grab Wrap UpA huge thank you to everyone who supported our 2026 Grocery Grab fundraiser! Whether you purchased a ticket, sold tickets, or helped behind the scenes, your support has made a real difference to Halswell United AFC. This year's fundraiser saw 6470 tickets sold, with fantastic support from players, families and the wider community. Big thanks to the following teams for selling all their allocated tickets: FKFF 6th Grade Sharks Congratulations also to our three lucky Grocery Grab winners, each taking home a $500 grocery voucher: Alice Miller, Ady Tubman & Apikana Knox. A special thank you to Trudy Murdoch for her help with coordinating and counting this year's Grocery Grab tickets. Your support is greatly appreciated. We would also like to sincerely thank our generous supporters who helped make this year's Grocery Grab such a success: Halswell New World for generously donating one of our three $500 Grocery Grab vouchers. Hell Pizza Wigram, The Little Tap House, Clemency Lawn and Nano Clear for donating a spot prize vouchers. Fundraising initiatives like Grocery Grab play an important role in helping us keep football affordable and continue investing in facilities, equipment and opportunities for our members. Under Control Quiet Achievers Award – Nominations Now OpenFollowing its introduction in 2025, nominations are now open once again for the Under Control Quiet Achievers Award. This award recognises the people within our Junior and Youth community who quietly make a difference. They may not score the most goals or receive the loudest applause, but their commitment, attitude and willingness to help make Halswell United a better place. Who can be nominated? Referees Wanted for Regional TournamentsWe are looking for referees to support our 14th Grade Boys and 17th Grade Boys Regional Tournaments at Warren Park from Wednesday 30 September to Friday 2 October. Referees will officiate matches throughout the day and also assist with the morning set up and afternoon pack down to help ensure the tournaments run smoothly. Previous refereeing experience isn't essential, but a good understanding of the Laws of the Game is preferred. If you're interested or would like more information, please contact Olivia Smith, General Manager. We would love to have your support in making these tournaments a success. |

Support Our U15 Girls Academy Gold Coast CampaignEvery Saturday morning, our U15 Girls Academy players are firing up the BBQ to help raise funds for their upcoming trip to the Gold Coast, where they'll compete in the Premier Invitational – Australia's largest junior football tournament. The girls have been working incredibly hard throughout the season, not only on the pitch where they lead the U15 Division 1 competition, but also off the pitch, volunteering their time to make this exciting opportunity possible. Travelling to the Gold Coast to compete at the Premier Invitational is a fantastic reward for all of their commitment and dedication. Running the BBQ has become a real team effort, with players and families giving up their Saturday mornings to support the fundraising campaign. It's been wonderful to see so many club members stopping by for a sausage and showing their support. If you're at the club on a Saturday morning, we'd love your support. Stop by, grab a sausage, and help the girls get one step closer to their Gold Coast adventure. Every sausage sold makes a difference!
