It has been great to see everyone back at football over the past couple of weeks and the club buzzing again on Saturday mornings.

With the rollout of NZ Football’s new Whole of Football 2.0 framework, there have been a few changes and a couple of teething issues as we work through new formats and structures, so thank you to all of our players, parents, coaches, referees, and volunteers for your patience and support while we get everything running smoothly.

There is a huge amount happening around the club already this season, and we’re really excited about what’s ahead in 2026. A massive thank you to everyone who continues to volunteer their time and help out each week whether that’s coaching, setting up fields, helping with pack down, running the BBQ, or simply supporting from the sidelines. The club couldn’t run without you.

Thanks again — we’re looking forward to a great season together.

Coaches’ Achievements Recognition

As a club, we felt it was important to acknowledge the achievements of our coaches over the past three seasons. We apologise if we have unintentionally missed anyone.

These coaches have completed advanced coaching qualifications during their time at the club. Achieving these certifications requires significant time, effort, dedication, and a genuine passion for becoming the best coach possible, while also helping improve the environment we work in as a club.

It has been a pleasure to work alongside and support the following coaches in reaching these milestones:

  • Josh McTurk – C Licence (2023)
  • Nathan Young – C Licence (2024)
  • Patrick Rousse – C Licence (2024)
  • Alex Young – C Licence (2025)
  • Katie Pottinger – C Licence (2025)
  • Callum Bowman – C Licence (2026)
  • Aiden Kelly – C Licence (2023)
  • Jae Youn Lee – B Licence (2024)
  • Josh McTurk – Junior Level 3 (2026)
  • Patrick Rousse – Junior Level 3 (2026)
  • Morgan Kilkenny – Junior Level 3 (2026)

Congratulations to all coaches on these fantastic achievements and for the commitment you continue to show to both your own development and the growth of our club.
