The club has terminated the contract of Robbie Barraclough as Premier men’s coach with immediate effect.

“It is never an easy decision to relieve a coach of their duties but the club has taken this action based on the evidence of performance and results over the last six weeks” said Club Executive Committee.

“Having kept faith with Robbie in the wake of last season’s disappointment, we are now 4 games away from the end of the campaign and with the current inconsistent performance and lack of direction still evident the decision was made. 

Since his appointment, the coach has received our full backing in his plans to gain promotion back to the MPL.

The Executive does not feel that our aim of winning promotion this season is achievable without this change.

Stuart Kelly will assume the role of caretaker coach for the remainder of the season.

We wish Robbie well in his future endeavours.
